Graphic Designer• Oversee all activities & operations within the design department• Develop and prepare designs and drawings from initial preliminary concepts to detailed approved renderings• Manage and assign part numbers for internal process flow• Assign tasks and co-ordinate required technical drawings/ engineering work to affected personnel • Continually review and verify finished product conform to applicable design specifications• Involved in design & development of potential projects in co-ordination with the sales team• Confer with other department supervisors to determine best method of construction and design for efficient production & installationStructural Designer• SolidWorks & DriveWorks training• Detailed structural design of various signage types for manufacturing and installation purposes• Creating detailed permit application drawings for city and P.Eng approval• Preparing and interpreting mechanical drawings, detailed part drawings, sub-assemblies, and bill of materials for fabrication purposes• Responsible for developing standardized signage to help increase production and improve efficiencies for various signage types• Assisting in monitoring quality of product during all phases of production• Working closely with manufacturing ensuring design intent is followed and any outstanding issues are resolved promptly• Continually working with internal departments ensuring design improvements are identified and efficiently implemented • Produced all electrical guides for assembly and installation• Develop & maintain a library of typical cross sections, construction methods & fastening products for permit applications & internal usesMisc.• Updated and developed procedures to improve upon current documentation/ Analysis of existing best practices and review of current procedures• Develop and maintain all external sales marketing material along with website development & maintenance • Manage all social media accounts
