ABOUT JOE KUZMICK
It was my privilege to serve in the US Navy for 34 years. It gave me the opportunity to learn, serve and lead at the highest levels. My experiences gave me a unique leadership perspective empowering people to do their best work. My leadership style is simple and effective: I am a passionate servant leader. As a Rear Admiral and Flight Officer in the Navy, I held four CEO-level positions, including nuclear aircraft carrier and aircraft squadron commands. At one point, I was responsible for people at sea along with five ships and 65 airplanes. There was no room for micromanaging: I trusted the people in leadership roles and was amazed at what they accomplished. I bring my leadership knowledge and worldly experience to my Vistage groups where I serve as the Chair. Vistage is a peer advisory group for high-performing executives who help each other accelerate the growth of their businesses. Bringing professionals together to deal with problems as a group energizes and excites me. I always loved unfettered analysis processes (think Top Gun or the Blue Angels) where we check egos at the door, roll up our sleeves and really get to the heart of the matter. I offer my group that experience: working with elite executives, we come together to make each other better by defining the real issues, and then using the power of peers to solve them. I support organizations that are important to me, including those that work to hire Vets, the Navy League, and the Naval Academy Alumni Association. There are openings in my Vistage groups. If you own or run a company in the Seattle area and you have a strong desire to grow your business, we should talk. Connect with me or email me at j••••••••@vistagechair.com and let’s discuss how Vistage can help you reach your goals faster.
