As General Manager overseeing Retail, Butter, and the Millerville Creamery Co-op Association (MCCA) Brand, I am responsible for driving the operational and strategic success of our artisan butter and retail divisions. My role bridges leadership, operations, and community engagement to ensure exceptional product quality, customer service, and cooperative growth.Key Responsibilities:Leading day-to-day operations for the Retail and Butter units, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Collaborating with the CEO and board to develop and implement strategies that align with Cooperative goals and long-term vision.Managing budgets, financial operations, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth.Developing and leading a dedicated team to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and high-quality customer service.Overseeing marketing and branding strategies to differentiate the MCCA brand in the marketplace and expand its reach.Building strong relationships with wholesale distributors, local markets, and industry stakeholders to strengthen our presence in artisan food retailing.Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe, productive, and inclusive workplace.Why It Matters:At Millerville Creamery, we are more than a business; we’re a community-driven cooperative rooted in tradition and craftsmanship.
