Déda is a registered charity that provides a dance-focused arts programme of performances, classes and dance development in the centre of Derby. I have financial oversight of the organisation, governance and human resources for Déda. Both customer service departments are in my area of responsibilities including the sales team and Déda cafe bar, where I lead on business growth. Fundraising is becoming a larger part of my role again as we develop our organisation to meet the financial challenges of the charity and arts sector. I have recently put together a significant fundraising application for which was successful. I am now project managing the implementation of a transformational organisational development project to help improve our long-term financial resilience.
