ABOUT JO LOVELL

For 20+ years, I’ve been involved in delivering people solutions across all HR and business functions. Claire Laurenson and I started Practical Change Partners because we share a passion for helping clients join the dots on their people plans. We think creatively about how to make things work well in the culture and context in which they’ll sit. We are pragmatists at heart, so work with where you are and what you have to plan and deliver well. We love working with others who share our keep it simple’ philosophy.We can get involved in a project at any stage, and are often asked to help when a piece of work is off track or needs to be accelerated. We diagnose what needs to be done, then work through what’s right for your business and your people by taking into account what’s unique about you. You’ll benefit from our knowledge and experience of other companies, but one size doesn’t fit all, so we simplify, clarify anddesign to fit in with your needs. We’re happy to lead on your behalf, or work in the backgroundto support you to deliver the right outcomes. Whatever our role, we work hard to understand what the future you want looks like, listen to and include your people and build well designed products. Our focus on up front planning helps you build clear deliverables that work within your budget and timeframe. Depending on the type of work involved, we are set up to work remotely, and used to scheduling project meetings face to face or via video conferencing. We enjoy working with small and medium businesses, where there may not be the luxury of a large in-house HR team, working on small (or part) solutions as well as being part of larger projects.
