Support to partner liaison, resource mobilization, grant management, FAO and partner compliance of voluntary contributions within FAO’s Strategic Framework. Project portfolio: Latin America. • Liaise with resource partner countries or entities to facilitate, coordinate and enhance resource mobilization opportunities.• Seek sources of funding and advocate for multi-year, un-earmarked and flexible funding to appropriate FAO funding modalities, such as multi-donor projects and umbrella programmes. Resource partners: the Green Climate Fund and other Climate and International Financing Institutions• Take on the Funding Liaison Officer function and take part in the Project Task Force for the assigned resource partners and projects.• Advocate for the establishment of framework agreements, standard template funding agreements or other tools with the aim of facilitating the contracting process and timeline.• Prepare and negotiate funding agreements and related agreements in full compliance with the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of FAO, including in full compliance with the FAO Financial Rules and Regulations.
