ABOUT JORDAN MONTGOMERY
I\'m a doctoral candidate at the Universitätmedizin Charite, Berlin, whose research focus is on the ethics and legal challenges of using AI-driven technologies in psychotherapy and psychiatric treatment. In my working life, I\'m a marketing professional and Arts graduate with interests in creative, community and sustainable projects. I currently work as Marketing and Events Manager for Nucleus Coffee Tools, and am a writer for Coffee Intelligence, a publication focused on trade, consumption, trends and technology in the coffee sector. The majority of my career has been spent working with businesses in the specialty coffee sector. Previously, I worked in Germany with brands such as Fjord Coffee Roasters and Field Coffee, two Berlin-based specialty coffee roasting companies, and in a remote role as Senior Performance Manager for PDG Media, a world-leading marketing and consultancy agency with expertise across the coffee supply chain.I have also worked a co-producer on the Coffee Heroes film, a documentary film about several coffee professionals and their journey to the 2018 World Barista Championships, and as Marketing Manager for several prestigious coffee companies including ONA Coffee and Project Origin. When I\'m not working in coffee and marketing, I enjoy studying and reading about sustainability, medical ethics, bioethics and philosophy.
