Jjay is a skilled animation and VFX production coordinator and manager with over 5 years of experience in TV series and indie short film formats. His passion for storytelling took root long before earning his Bachelor of Commerce from UBC in 2018. While advancing his career in marketing, Jjay gained valuable experience by producing, directing, and managing the productions of commercials and indie live-action short films.With a solid foundation in marketing and project management, he evolved into a proficient Producer of animated, motion graphics, and live-action content in Vancouver. Among his notable achievements are coordinating the animation pipeline for My Little Pony: Make Your Mark (Hasbro/eOne/Netflix) and the adult animated series Sausage Party: Foodtopia (Annapurna/Amazon Prime/Sony Pictures).Since relocating to Toronto, Jjay has broadened his expertise by completing the Warner Brothers Diversity Access Canada VFX Coordinator Training Program. This allowed him to secure a position with SPIN VFX as a Production Coordinator, where he coordinated the VFX pipeline for Beast Games (Amazon Prime). In Jan 2025, Jjay continues to foster relationships at SPIN VFX as a full-time permanent employee, working on his next project. During his personal time, Jjay is currently focused on developing an adult animated project based on internationally recognized IP.
