As part of the People & Culture team at Morningstar, I support core HR operations, ensuring smooth execution across the entire employee lifecycle. My role is focused on streamlining processes, maintaining HR systems, and enhancing the employee experience.Key areas I work on include:Employee Onboarding & Induction: I manage onboarding activities from documentation to Day 1 readiness, including Workday setups, IT coordination, and conducting induction sessions.HRIS Management (Workday): I handle employee data updates, workflow actions, and reporting. I also support data audits and compliance by ensuring accuracy in records.Background Verification (BGV): I work with external vendors to initiate, track, and close BGV cases while coordinating with stakeholders in case of escalations.ServiceNow Ticketing: I manage employee queries raised through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining SLA compliance across areas like onboarding, policy clarification, and documentation.Leave & Attendance: I administer leaves, ensuring records are up to date in Workday, and support employees with related queries.Rewards & Recognition: I support quarterly R&R programs, tenure awards, and employee appreciation initiatives to help drive engagement and recognition.Exit & Offboarding: I manage the offboarding process including exit formalities, system deactivation, and issuing experience and relieving letters.Probation Management: I track probation periods, coordinate with managers for confirmation feedback, and process updates in Workday accordingly.I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to several internal projects, improve tracking/reporting processes, and continuously support a smooth employee experience in a dynamic and flexible work environment.
