ABOUT JIM VURPILLAT
With over 20 years of work experience in marketing, I am a passionate and driven leader in the automotive and mobility sectors. I currently serve as the director of brand and corporate marketing at otonomo, a leading data platform for connected cars. In this role, I am responsible for building and executing the global marketing strategy, creating and delivering compelling brand stories, and driving revenue growth. I have a strong track record of developing and launching successful marketing campaigns, partnerships, and events across multiple channels and regions. Previously, I held senior marketing positions at ELMS, Telenav, Stratasys, and Cadillac, where I led the marketing efforts for various products, services, and segments in the automotive and aerospace industries. I have a MBA and a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Dayton, and a certificate in Digital Marketing Strategies from Northwestern University. I have also acquired multiple skills in marketing, marketing strategy, and sales throughout my career.
