ABOUT JIM WALKER

Founder of Performance North. Which in reality, means I\'m a little old team of one, day to day. Doing performance marketing stuff with some brands I love, and the people behind those brands.I\'ve been in the marketing industry for the majority of my career, and specifically digital and performance marketing for the majority of it, now. Nothing massively \'unique\' in terms of my journey. But I like to think I do bring something a little bit different to the table for the businesses I\'m lucky enough to work with. which is clarity. Performance marketing, in my experience is a very \'smoke and mirrors\' part of the marketing world. Lots of fluffy metrics, lots of acronyms, and so much change that it\'s hard for most people to know what\'s what. Clarity. Honesty. Simplicity. Some really basic principles that I try to work/live by every day. My career has given me exposure to the entire channel mix, with brands of all shapes and sizes. And working as a consultant/fractional performance marketing support gives me the opportunity to help shape the commercial success of the brands I work with, whether that\'s from a high-level strategic oversight position, or an integrated, getting-my-hands-dirty sort of way.
