Wesco and Anixter merged in June, 2020. Manage a 15 person team tasked with supporting Wesco\'s field sales group for wire and cable opportunities within the Industrial and Construction markets.Support includes project management, sourcing, quoting from various ERPs, product ID and technical questions.Help ensure profitability by leveraging the knowledge and experience of the group as well as be a resource for any discussions with the end customer.Continuously develop relationships with multiple levels of field sales, seek to fully understand their key business issues and recommends ways to deliver value.Provides pre and post-call coaching to field sales team.Liaison between the field and category management teams as it relates to pursuing Value-Add/Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) commitments and increasing customer wallet-share.Leads and oversees solution development efforts that best address customer needs, including management of the wire and cable sales process and working with the end customer and sales.Engages supplier sales and management resources to enlist their support and create solutions, including value engineering.Manage all wire and cable cross sell opportunities for the new merged company.
