In my current position I oversee the underwriting integrity for both the Midwest and Upper Midwest Regions for the Select Underwriting Department (Small Business Underwriting). I am responsible for granting all underwriting authority to the field for both regions. I also handle all referrals for issues that exceed field authority. I am also responsible for mentoring and developing all of the underwriting employees within both regions including management. I support the Region Senior Management team in the development and execution of strategic underwriting initiatives needed within the 10 states encompassing both regions.
