Lead and mentor the efforts of a multi-disciplinary Project SMEs throughout various stages of the product and project development lifecycle for the Government Programs and Services (GPA) department. • Plan and manage all aspects of complex projects that include client implementations and enhancements to new and existing products and services. • Define and manage metrics to effectively measure the success of project deliverables. • Manage work groups to achieve service commitments and ensure accurate, reliable, and timely execution of project deliverables. • Develop and administer policies, business processes, quality standards, measurement criteria, and operating budgets. • Set high standards and encourage new ideas for improving organizational performance. Take appropriate corrective action as needed to promote optimal employee performance and maintain low staff turnover. • Partner with multi-disciplinary teams, including senior management, sales, marketing, IT, operations, administration and others for project definition including: resources, time estimates and prioritization. •. Participate in the Annual Planning process as it relates to GPS IT efforts and Initiatives. • Interface with other departments to determine project leaders. Develops and reports performance measures for the team. • Manage and communicate schedules and deadlines for the team. • Communicate with senior management and for project prioritization and management of resource schedules. • Make recommendations for and contributes to the continuing improvement of policies, procedures, equipment, training, business process reengineering, and goals of the organization. • Establish and maintain realistic timelines and milestones which promote an external competitive advantage and promote exceeding internal expectations.
