I am honored to have been selected as the sole recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP) in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Education—a nationally competitive award that recognizes outstanding graduate students conducting world-changing research.This prestigious fellowship supports individuals with the potential to make significant contributions to research, innovation, and broader societal impact. As the only awardee in my interdisciplinary area, my research explores the ethical, human-centered integration of AI into educational systems—particularly in ways that empower marginalized communities, promote digital equity, and reimagine learning through culturally responsive and trauma-informed AI literacy.The NSF GRFP provides funding for three years of research, allowing me to pursue visionary work at the intersection of A.I, human development and educational justice.
