Lead research project focusing on the inclusion of Latinx student experiences in quantitative measure development, aimed to improve engineering identity survey items’ reliability and validity- Conduct in-depth interviews with 15 upperclassmen from various Hispanic-serving institutions to explore the factors influencing their ability to feel like engineers across 3 years- Analyze and synthesize interview data to uncover the sociocultural influences on students’ engineering experiences; findings will be published in a peer-reviewed journal
