Participedia is an international research partnership funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), and aims to advance a global field of scholars, activists and practitioners working to understand and strengthen innovations in participatory democracy. My role includes fostering connections within this community, and mobilizing knowledge through participatory design research rooted in Feminist HCI and Design Justice. Operationally, I direct design and communications strategy for the Participedia project, I am responsible for the open-source data crowdsourcing platform Participedia.net (github.com/participedia), and I implement design-led engagement and pedagogy through international events including the Participedia Partners Conference and Participedia School programs. Roles & Promotions: Lead Designer 20••••21; Design Technology Lead 20••••25; Design Director 2025-present.
