ABOUT JEREMY R. LEGGETT

I am an instructor for Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and American Academy of Pediatrics. As Training Center Coordinator for Indiana’s largest training center, I led over 170 instructors and expanded training access to underserved communities across Central and Northern Indiana.With 19 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and nine years in healthcare administration, I have directed multiple departments, including Cardiopulmonary Services, Neurology, Cardiology, Infusion, Rehabilitation, and Specialty Clinics. My leadership earned the #1 Press Ganey Score for healthcare leaders in the U.S. and a top 5 national ranking for three consecutive years in staff engagement, satisfaction, and retention—maintaining zero turnover before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, I was honored as Hospital Director of the Year and selected for the Excellence in Leadership Program through CHS and Lutheran Healthcare.As a Rotarian, community advocate, and philanthropist, I am committed to supporting the elderly, underserved, and those in need. I serve as a Design Board Member for Rediscover Downtown Peru (RDP) and represent Miami County healthcare on the More for Miami Coalition, working to improve local development and access to care. My husband and I are also the proud owners of the historic Whitehall Estate of Miami County, which we are actively restoring.As a healthcare leader, public servant, and emerging political figure, I am passionate about common-sense solutions and meaningful change, with aspirations to serve at higher levels of government in the future.
