Grower Accountant @Vertical Foods, Llc

Serves as the sole manager of all settlements for all growers, year-round for Vertical Foods. Manages an estimated 100 growers- Improved accountability and effectiveness by creating SOP\'s for all accounting tasks relating to grower settlements, month end procedures, and other accounting functions- Collects and manages all grower contracts and ensures timely payments to growers- Reports financial data to the general manager on a weekly basis and steers business decisions accordingly- Communicates with growers, grower relations, sales, and production on a regular basis to resolve issues- Performs month end process such as preparing journal entries and reconciliation all expense accounts- Reviews P&L, cost accounting, and the balance sheet with the general manager and parent company management- Works with controller to create GL codes- Manages all accounts payable, accounts receivable, benefits, and worker\'s compensation for the Vertical Foods operation.
