ABOUT JENNY CONNORS
As a tax attorney at Williams Mullen, my practice focuses on the taxation of businesses, business owners and investors, with a particular emphasis on the taxation of flow-through entities. I have an in-depth understanding of federal, state, and local tax matters, and frequently counsel clients on the establishment of private equity funds, the acquisition of low-income housing and historic preservation tax credits, and the tax structuring of mergers and acquisitions. I have extensive experience drafting complex partnership agreements to achieve desired tax and economic results. In addition, I assist 501(c)(3) and other tax-exempt organizations with entity formation, tax-exempt filings, and general compliance matters. Recently, I have handled the negotiation and settlement of complex tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service and state and local taxing authorities. I am a frequent speaker on the taxation of flow-through entities and have authored numerous tax alerts on federal and state tax matters affecting business entities. In 2012, 2013 and 2014, I was recognized by Virginia Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top up-and-coming lawyers in the field of Tax Law.
