ABOUT JENNY BANKIE
Over 15 years of experience in the sustainability and and environmental management space, spanning the sectors of private and public consulting, federal government, nonprofits, civil engineering and education. Underlying my journey has always been a concern for trodding less heavily upon the earth, mitigating climate change mitigation and improving ecosystem health in collaborative, impactful and lasting ways. Technical experience: Scope 1-3 inventories, ESG reporting, embodied carbon quantification and decarbonization strategies, science-based target setting, supplier training and engagement, GHG verification and assurance, waste circularity program implementation, climate change policy and planning, environmental education and communication. Certified GHG Mandatory Reporting Regulation (MRR) and Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Lead Verifier under the California Air Resources Board. Personally, I also have long-standing interests in the environmental humanities and climate change psychology. I believe climate issues are highly intertwined with lasting human and biotic wellness.
