ABOUT JENNIFER MERCHANT
I am a writer and actor. I have a love for the arts, astrology and spirituality. With the help of my friend Anna R, a solo show creation course with TJ Dawe and the Toronto Fringe, I wrote and performed my first solo show, focusing on my Jamaican-Canadian background, at the 2022 Toronto Fringe. TJ Dawe\'s course allowed us to practice, in front of a group, what we\'d already written. The whole process of the Fringe made me want to do more writing. Currently I\'m enrolled in the PWC program at Humber. Where I am learning skills to help me improve and find work as a writer. This improves other pursuits as well, including performing.
