Maine’s largest hunger-relief organizationIn my current role, I lead creative and strategic communications for donors at all levels—making sure they feel informed, inspired, and deeply connected to the mission of ending hunger in Maine.One of the biggest projects I’ve been part of? The Campaign to End Hunger in Maine—a historic $250 million effort that wrapped up in June 2023, ahead of schedule and exceeding both food and fundraising goals. I helped craft the messaging strategy and made sure the campaign showed up clearly and consistently across all donor touchpoints—from one-pagers and appeals to the annual report and campaign website.Some ongoing highlights:• Develop and maintain donor-facing web content and materials that support major giving strategy—including a new digital-first annual report to broaden reach and reduce production costs• Design charts, graphs, and visual storytelling tools that helped contribute to a 106% increase in annual appeal gifts after taking on both content and design responsibilities• Lead cohesive multi-channel messaging plans across appeals, newsletters, social media, and the website to drive engagement and deepen donor relationships• Strengthen campaign visibility and connection through on-the-ground storytelling—conducting interviews and site visits that bring the mission to life and inspire actionI love taking big goals and turning them into clear, compelling messages that move people to action. Especially when that action helps people access the food they need to thrive.
