ABOUT JENNIFER WATTS
I integrate information from remote sensing, field observations, and models to understand feedbacks between climate, land use, and Earth ecosystems, and to inform data-driven decision making. I am especially interested in global rangelands, wetlands, and boreal-Arctic permafrost ecosystems. My work also focuses on improving measurement, monitoring, reporting and verification (MMRV) systems to support global land/community resilience, ecosystem conservation and greenhouse gas accounting efforts.
