I work at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, skills intelligence, and AI adoption — helping people and organizations navigate change with clarity and purpose.Over the years, I’ve supported thousands of entrepreneurs and business builders, co-founded new ventures, and led programs that strengthen regional economies and workforce systems. That work taught me something simple but profound: innovation isn’t just about technology — it’s about people, skills, and leadership.Today my focus spans both public and private innovation- At the University of Montana, I oversee economic and workforce development programs that connect education, industry, and entrepreneurship- Through my coaching practice, I work with leaders and teams adapting to an AI-enabled world- As co-founder of MGTeamPlus, I help U.S. businesses scale efficiently by connecting them with skilled remote professionals- With SkillBySkill (coming soon!), I’m exploring new ways to map, measure, and develop the skills that matter most in the age of AI.I believe AI is ultimately a leadership and skills challenge — one that requires curiosity, courage, and a willingness to experiment.
