Working within the UK Corporate Relations team as a Social Investment Advisor. Shell UK aims to help people into jobs with a focus on the energy transition by 2035. Responsibilities focus on skills investments notably within FE college sector to create Energy Transition Skills hubs to support opportunities in communities across the UK to ensure the energy transition is an opportunity for everyone. My work supports people, communities, and industries as they navigate the energy transition—ensuring no one is left behind on the path to net zero.Current role includes leading programs that:Equip individuals with the skills needed for clean energy jobs and emerging industriesFoster inclusive workforce development, particularly for underrepresented groupsAlign corporate social investment with Shell Energy Transition StrategyExamples of work also involves working with industry membership bodies, skills bodies and NGO’s to develop new skills pathways and skill policy and
