Macken Companies is a fully integrated firm with real estate investment, development, construction, financing and brokerage entities. Throughout the past 12 years, my position expanded from Director of PR to Director of Marketing and PR. I was integrally involved in the company’s rebranding strategy, bringing all of its different entities together under one umbrella through overhauling the website, creating complimentary marketing pieces and advertising campaigns.I currently lead the marketing department, working diligently with every department head and vendors to ensure all communications tools are utilized effectively to promote the company. Together, we have successfully launched and sold out many projects, including luxury custom homes, multi-family developments, townhome communities and commercial shopping centers. Most recently, we won site plan approval for Aura, a mixed-use project developed in partnership with Trinsic, poised to transform the City of North Miami Beach.• Develop and execute strategic public relations and marketing campaigns to launch and help sell out development team’s projects, comprising luxury townhome communities, custom homes, mixed-use projects, retail centers and single tenant net lease properties• Draft and distribute all press releases, feature pitches, source letters, award nominations and newsletters; Secure press in local and national trade and consumer media outlets• Work closely with graphic designer on the creation of all materials including eblasts, newsletters and ads• Oversee vendors to ensure materials are completed on deadline• Conduct the media buys for print and digital ads, incorporating video and drone footage• Represent company at meetings and events held by Las Olas Association, Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance and municipalities • Plan and execute all events, including broker breakfasts, cocktail receptions, groundbreaking ceremonies and grand openings
