ABOUT JENNER SAPIENZA

Leveraging 4+ years of leadership skills, professional organization, and my passion for adventures, the outdoors, and physical activity, I am seeking to positively impact the missions and goals of teams and organizations that are aligned with my passions and values. My passions are in promoting physical activity, raising awareness and contributing to a more environmentally-sustainable future, and spreading positivity and setting a good example for future generations. I am interested in working in leadership and coordination roles with goal-oriented organizations including sport/athletic teams and outdoor companies.I graduated from Cal Poly SLO in June of 2023 with a B.S. in Kinesiology, concentrated in Sport Science. I pursued additional classes to expand my knowledge and earned minors in both Biology and Military Science.I published 2 scholarly articles related to the field of kinesiology with the help of my peers and professors. This opened the opportunity to lead and coordinate a team of lab technicians in conducting VO2 Maximum Fitness Testing for Stanford University\'s \"The ELITE Study\" human performance research.During my time at Cal Poly SLO I also gained a plethora of knowledge and experience outside of my major courses. I honed my Professional Organizational Skills, Interpersonal Skills, and Team Leadership with the Army ROTC program at Cal Poly. I planned numerous events which boosted recruiting & retention and left a positive impact on the ROTC program for future classes of Cadets. I am carrying these skills in the Washington State Army National Guard to serve my home-state that I greatly value.
