ABOUT JENNIFER LLORENS

I am a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a passion for robotics and technology. With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho, I have developed a strong foundation in technical skills and problem-solving abilities.Throughout my career, I have gained experience in various areas, including robotics verification and validation, technical documentation, and troubleshooting electronics and software. In my current role as a Robotics Verification and Validation Engineer at Sarcos Technology and Robotics Corporation, I am responsible for creating procedures to integrate exoskeleton and teleoperated robots efficiently and accurately. I troubleshoot and diagnose software, hardware, and controller issues by analyzing sensor data in Matlab and Palantir Foundry. Additionally, I design test plans and lead a team of engineers through comprehensive robot tests, measuring progress against product requirements.During my time as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Rio Tinto, I demonstrated my organizational skills by designing an efficient system for technical documentation, ensuring that all safety and work documentation was up to date and correct for the engineers on my team. I also created and managed a SharePoint page for the Instrumented Protective Systems Team, improving accessibility to documentation across all job sites.As a Calculus Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University - Idaho, I honed my communication and leadership skills by assisting professors with teaching, answering questions, designing test problems, and grading. I also managed the course\'s online platform and conducted tutoring sessions for students.In addition to my work experience, I have a strong academic background in relevant coursework, including technical communication, circuit analysis, object-oriented programming, and embedded systems. I am proficient in Microsoft Office, data analysis, technical documentation, and various programming languages such as MATLAB, GitLab, Python, and C++.I am a dedicated professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
