ABOUT JEMMA SHAW
I’m the Director of Programmes and Partnerships at The Talent Foundry, where I work to support young people to build the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. The Talent Foundry exists to level the playing field for young people who face barriers to opportunity, and that mission sits at the heart of my work. I lead on developing and delivering impactful programmes, building meaningful partnerships, and ensuring our work reaches the young people who need it most.My background spans youth, disability, and community-focused organisations, including senior leadership roles at The Scouts and Leonard Cheshire. Across these roles, I’ve led large, multi-disciplinary teams, worked closely with volunteers and partners, and delivered UK-wide programmes with a strong focus on inclusion, equity, and social impact.I’m particularly passionate about:• Supporting underrepresented and vulnerable young people• Creating partnerships that drive real, measurable impact• Designing programmes that build life skills, confidence, and access to opportunity• Working collaboratively with organisations that share a commitment to social justiceI’m always keen to connect with people and organisations who care about widening access, tackling inequality, and creating fairer futures for young people.
