In her 1st year in Elsevier, on role of Talent Acquisition Manager, Jelena was responsible to set up TA function in DACH, Eastern Europe and Middle East/Africa - to set up an internal agency model, reduce costs and increase efficiency & quality of hires in complex matrix international environment, having on mind global strategy as well as,local differences and legalities. She worked on implementing global systems to help manage recruitment, setting up processes and policies, trained users, developed and managed new and creative ways when it comes to sourcing strategies. Once model was set and proved successful, in her second year Jelena started supporting Western Europe challenging roles and was working on Employer Branding topics, as well as implementing technologies that can help automatizing recruitment efforts.
