As AbbVie’s Chief Commercial Officer my vision for the organization is very straightforward: make sure the remarkable impact of our innovative science reaches patients around the world by ensuring their access to life-changing treatments. To do that means constantly reinventing our organization and our capabilities to anticipate and overcome obstacles to access in a dynamically changing world. That’s how we make a difference for patients.I’ve basically worked for one organization over the course of my career as it transitioned from Takeda Abbott Pharmaceuticals to Abbott, and ultimately to AbbVie. I’ve led teams across brands, therapeutic areas, and countries following a consistent North Star which is the patient-centricity that drives everything we do. It shapes our culture, empowers our people, and reaches beyond medicine to improve outcomes for patients.I am deeply committed to how our industry serves patients. I previously served on the Boards of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations, the National Pharmaceutical Council and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). I support AbbVie’s culture of equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion and serve as the executive chair of AbbVie’s Black Business Network, an Employee Resource Group.
