Since 1977, we have preserved over acres of open space, farmland, and parkland across San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties. Our vision is to create a connected network of protected lands where people and nature thrive—lands that are safeguarded forever to maintain the unique balance of rural and urban landscapes that define our region- Coordinate with all internal departments for proper and timely processing of Accounts Payables, Account Receivables, billable expenses, lease payments for POST-owned property, and donations- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close, reconciliations, and financial analysis- Prepare quarterly and annual tax filings and payments and Form 1099 filing for relevant vendors- Training of all newly hired staff on proper internal Finance procedures - Aid the Annual Giving Team on Donor hikes, educate non-POST individuals about the land and conservation efforts- Lead for Social Committee. Plan all internal events & parties (mostly remote) as well as monthly hosting of trivia
