Responsible for the direction and success of POST’s planned giving program, including multi-channel legacy marketing to thousands of donors and qualified legacy leads, cultivating & stewarding several hundred legacy members and prospects (including about 50 meetings/year, 1:1 legacy asks where appropriate), and proactively administering of about 3 dozen open estates. Program realizes ~$3.5M/year via ~20 gifts and grows pipeline by ~45 new commitments/year, including charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities. Supervises Individual & Planned Giving Coordinator. Trains and works closely with front-line individual/major giving fundraisers.

Nature and wildlife have been deeply important to me since childhood. I help my local land trust raise funds to protect and care for open space in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and the N edge of San Benito Counties in California - for the benefit of all. My org grows a network of protected lands where all can thrive! My role is focused on legacy & estate giving, working to market, educate and engage individuals who might consider, are considering or have already included a meaningful gift in their wills, trusts, retirement plans or other creative ways.
