Jeffrey David Harris is an award-winning business leader, focused on the upward mobility of humans and the enterprising potential. Jeffrey believes there’s a direct connection between jobs and purpose. His problem-solving approach has led to the creation of new recruitment processes designed to improve staffing for the masses. With Impact Recruitment, Jeffrey created the Certified Candidate System, enabling the successful placement of thousands of candidates into hundreds of organizations. Jeffrey’s leadership resulted in Impact Recruitment ranking consistently as one of Canada’s fastest growing companies, from 2016 to 2022. During his tenure, Jeffrey was able to accomplish a 30% YOY growth rate for 10 years straight, earning him recognition as foremost recruitment industry leader.Jeffrey has set the industry standard for best-in-class recruitment across multiple industries and continues to add value with his advisory position at Impact Recruitment, which is now a national firm with its acquisition (2024) by Aplin. Through the confluence of technology and human-potential, Jeffrey believes that we can change the world of “work” for a better outcome for all, because “Work sucks, if it’s not for a purpose (his own quote).” Now spearheading a new technology that aims to merge the gig-economy with agency-grade recruitment, Jeffrey has created AmbiMi, the world’s first skills based job matching platform. AmbiMi is both the tech-enabler for staffing agencies, and a marketplace for jobs of all types, including the gig economy. AmbiMi cuts the administrative burden of job matching to mere seconds, and it enables professionals to develop their skills - and to land better jobs. For his innovative utilization of technology and contributions to the economy, he\'s been recognized on Business in Vancouver’s BC500 list for 20••••23 as one of the region\'s most influential leaders. In 2022, Jeffrey was selected as a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (Pacific Region), where he is recognized as “transforming our world through unbounded innovation, growth and prosperity.” In 2025, Jeffrey launched Do Better Kidz, a solution to flexible childcare with a focus on lifting women. In 2026, Jeffrey launched AmbiHire International, a team of freelance recruitment specialists.
