ABOUT JEFFREY CHAPMAN
As a kid, I was a problem solver but I never realized I could focus a career on solving problems. Professionally that has been what I\'ve focused on for the last 20+ years. I\'ve helped people deal with challenges both big and small, making their jobs easier.What\'s great is that technology is one of the best (and sometimes least understood) ways to solve problems. My first post college position was entirely focused on providing support for our internal sales/marketing/development teams, as well as supporting customers with AutoVue software. It was here that I learned that the more people I talked to, the more impact I would have.I\'ve since been around the world several times, experiencing different cultures, learning different viewpoints. It broadened my horizons, and yet I see so many similarities. We can solve issues that are pervasive in our business day with a new perspective and software that supports the business need. Today, after acquisitions by Agile Software and Oracle, I work in the perfect job to spread my problem-solving skills. I now get to spend my time talking to people about their corporate projects, apply my knowledge to make recommendations and lastly, find ways to use technology to make day to day tasks easier and faster. I meet great people and I make jobs more enjoyable. This lets me enjoy my job even more.
