The Community Assist is a modern, dynamic non-for-profit enterprise that conducts life changing programs currently in the City of Salisbury, Parafield Gardens and in the future in various locations across the greater Adelaide area.The innovative organisation began as The Community Welfare Ltd in 2010 in Parafield Gardens in response to the issues facing members of local community and to care for the many disadvantaged and marginalised.Our aim is to provide a multifaceted range of unique and compassionate services that offer hope and opportunity to those facing personal challenges and hardshipWe believe that every person has been born with incredible potential and is unique. However, our paths can take some unexpected turns, and despite our best efforts we may find that we need help through a crisis. Sometimes we need to try a different approach to lifes challenges and, in particular, to find a way through them.Our goal is to restore hope and dignity to people of all ages and from all walks of life who may be trapped in repressive habits or who may have experienced trauma or some other form of hardship or difficulty.For the Community Assist, empowering people today means providing crisis care, individualised support, re-skilling, acquiring new life skills and assistance in finding employment.
