ABOUT JOHN DOMINIC BELDA

I am a builder of systems, leaders, and stories—guided by service, faith, and global purpose.I currently serve as a Project Manager supporting the Photography Team within Marketing and Communications at Brigham Young University–Hawaii. Our team provides visual storytelling and photography services that support campus events, institutional initiatives, faculty and staff needs, and student life. My role is to support the photographers by coordinating schedules, organizing projects, managing requests from across campus, and building the systems that allow creative work to happen smoothly and on time. I focus on removing obstacles, aligning priorities, and ensuring the team can do their best work.Alongside this role, I am the Founder and President of the Asia Pacific Communication Society, a student-led initiative focused on developing ethical, employable, and globally minded communication leaders across Asia and the Pacific.Previously, I served as Head of Leadership and Operations at Facilities Management Services, where I helped oversee operations supporting more than 200 employees across three departments. That experience shaped how I lead today—by building scalable systems, setting clear standards, and developing leaders who value dignity, accountability, and long-term impact.I am currently pursuing a degree in Communication, with a long-term focus on global leadership, public service, and institution-building. Whether through operations, communication, or community-building, my work is driven by one goal: to help people and organizations become what they are capable of becoming—and to contribute to impact that extends beyond borders.
