Born in Durham, North Carolina and raised outside of Baltimore, I received my undergraduate degree and began my career in Philadelphia. After seven years, I moved to Brooklyn, New York to continue my career. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Saint Joseph\'s University and Master of Advanced Studies in American Media & Popular Culture from Arizona State University. I am an award-winning Marketing Manager in Philadelphia with experience in event coordination, social media, pitching, sales, copywriting, cross-promotion, journalism, email campaigns, and editing. I have over five years of experience in food & beverage marketing/PR, and have spent four years in the film and nonprofit sectors. Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for music, film, fashion, food, contemporary art, and progressive causes. As a DJ, I have played with Sweater Beats, Lushlife, qrtr, umru, and many other notable artists in both the Philly and Brooklyn scenes.
