ABOUT ALEX ROWLEY

Energy management is becoming increasingly technical, and the \"margin for error\" is disappearing. In the current landscape, the success of a portfolio is defined by three things: Performance, Efficiency, and Compliance. I focus on the technical infrastructure that makes these goals possible. My work is centered on helping clients navigate a rapidly evolving regulatory environment, while ensuring their assets actually perform as intended.I’m a firm believer that you cannot manage what you do not measure. In an era of high costs and strict oversight, moving past \"assumptions\" and legacy data is the only way to protect an asset\'s bottom line.My areas of focus include: Heat Network Regulation: Navigating the shift toward Ofgem oversight and ensuring systems meet the new standards for transparency and accountability. Metering & Data Strategy: Establishing the granular sub-metering and settlement architectures required to truly understand energy flow. Operational Performance: Identifying where systems are underperforming and translating those technical gaps into efficiency gains. Utility Infrastructure: Managing the physical siteworks and metering boundaries that form the foundation of any energy strategy. My goal is to provide the technical clarity needed to remove the guesswork from energy management. I’m always open to connecting with professionals looking to share insights or navigate the complexities of the current energy market.
