ABOUT JASON HUGHES

Jason is a recognised leader with a proven track record for building organisations and setting strategic direction within complex business, process and IT environment. He is an experienced transformation manager and change agent, skilled in implementing and supporting business critical initiatives across a broad portfolio of projects in the UK, Europe and Globally. Known for his ability to build and manage relationships with customers, suppliers and across organisations, utilising his people management, technical expertise and project management skills. His strengths include owning business initiatives, leading and building teams with customers and internally, challenging the perceived norm, delivering on time and budget. In his current role within IBM’s corporate development team he utilises his excellent communication, client and leaderships skills that are underwritten with his broad business and IT leadership to ensure successful and on time execution of the end to end divestitures.Jason spent three years on assignment to Guadalajara where he lead and grew the IBM CIO organisation in Mexico building a team of 450 people, maximising the benefits of a global resource location. Along side this he continued as leader of the Global Services transformation tower for IBM’s CIO office. Through his career Jason has held people management responsibility, building and developing teams and is recognised as a natural and trusted leader within the teams he works.
