ABOUT JANET BLANTON

I am a Finance student at George Mason University with a strong interest in financial markets, valuation, and strategic analysis. Through my academic work, involvement in the Investment Club, and role as a Teaching Assistant for Financial Management, I have developed a strong foundation in corporate finance, financial analysis, market research, and understanding the drivers of business performance. Serving as a Teaching Assistant has strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to break down complex financial concepts clearly and effectively. My involvement in finance-focused organizations has also helped me continue building technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the fast-paced nature of the industry. Beyond finance, my background in art and design has strengthened my creativity, discipline, and visual perspective, which I apply to presentations, problem-solving, and analytical work. I am focused on continuing to build the technical and professional skills needed to contribute in high-performance finance environments and grow within the industry.
