To take up the role as Digital Merchandising Manager for UK & Ireland at ADI Global Distribution, in which my goal is to assist ADI in not only optimising their existing product listings and website performance, but also to use my experience from previous roles to attempt to bring additional innovation and efficiency to the merchandising role.Key Responsibilities & Achievements• Built self maintaining trading reports, as well as the development analytics reports that would allow the merchandising team to spot real time sales and customer behavior trends, allowing for the formulation of targeted trading activity.• To take responsibility for the visual online upkeep and optimisation of ADI’s SKU catalogue. This includes tasks such as the implementation of more user friendly/SEO compliant titles, the sourcing of optimised visual assets, and the gathering of additional customer-helping materials such as manufacturer PDF’s.• To collaborate directly with market leading vendors to ensure a smooth workflow and satisfactory results when undertaking tasks such as launching new vendor landing pages. As well as to gather and implement digital marketing assets across the UK & Ireland websites.• To work extensively on improving performance of our on-site search functionality, in which the analysis of search traffic would be used to help implement customer journey improvements, such as search redirects that are designed to remove unnecessary steps from the process funnell.• To build reporting methodologies that would allow non-digitally focussed stakeholders to be easily engaged in the overall performance of the website, as well as to offer the same level of information at a more granular level, thus allowing for the formulation of digital optimisation activities.• To manage the creation and execution of promotional email activity• To manage the selling and implementation of vendor sponsored assets/content across the ADI and IE websites
