ABOUT JIM ALEXANDER

Over 30+ years, I have acquired extensive experience in leveraging cutting-edge data analytics tools to generate critical, actionable insights that inform goal setting, strategizing, and operational improvements across ticket operations and CRM development in Major League Baseball (MLB). This experience has enabled me to spearhead industry-leading consumer survey initiatives, recommend key changes to optimize client engagement strategy, ensure accountability and measurability across sales processes.A few of my achievements include: Receiving the 2019 Visionary Award for creating the first Fan Council in MLB, including leading a fan segmentation study and creating a Fan Sentiment Index to track factors driving fan attendance. Partnering with MLB on its first Voice of the Consumer (VOC) survey initiative as one of six MLB teams chosen to partner on the project, using the Qualtrics platform to conduct the survey. Creating MLB’s first entirely internal Dynamic Pricing model in 2015 by leading the implementation of game-by-game ‘live’ ticket attendance and revenue projections. Conducting ~144 surveys between 2013 and 2019 that resulted in 200K+ responses and impact on Ticketing, Sponsorship, Charities, Marketing, Ballpark Ops, Communications, Broadcasting, and Finance. Achieving $38M+ in ticket sales revenue for the Pittsburgh Pirates as its Director of Sales, including the highest season ticket base in the team’s history in 2001.Thanks to all of those that made it fun and interesting.Be and Do good!Jim A••••••••@gmail.com
