I consider it a sincere honor and privilege to work in the most productive agricultural area on this great planet. My crop specialties include Almonds, Citrus, Grapes, Stone fruit, Walnuts, Pistachios, tomatoes, and assorted other fruit, vegetable, berry and nut crops grown in the southern San Joaquin Valley. I research improved performance of existing products and extended uses, and assist with new product development and product launches.• Sales Support: Collect, summarize and present product performance information for Sales and customers. Develop and provide technical materials and assist in product positioning. Serve as local expert on commercial products and uses. Assist in hiring and supervision of summer interns. Generate regionally and locally focused technical selling and training literature and electronic media.Provide local, regional and national presentations to support Bayer CropScience business. • Field Project Activities: Contract research trials with local research cooperators. Design and coordinate field demonstration trials and tours. Analyze field crop research trials and summarize and present results to the product development and Sales teams.• Influencer/Customer Activities: Be responsible for University Extension Service interface on Bayer CropScience studies, recommendations and local influencer needs. Work closely with Academics and contract research studies on new and existing crop protection products.
