I currently provide one-to-one tuition for several students (aged 8-18) in a mixture of mathematics and the natural sciences. My work allows me to combine my background in the sciences with my desire to make a meaningful contribution by helping others. Many of my students are hoping to study in top schools, colleges and universities overseas, such as in the UK and America, and so my work aims to help them reach their potential and realise these ambitions.My day to day work involves writing detailed lesson plans for upcoming sessions, keeping up to date with subject material and the delivery of the tuition classes themselves. I am also careful to monitor my students’ progress so that I can best tailor our sessions to match their ideal style of learning. All of this requires strong communication skills, patience and a high level of commitment.
