Currently Programme Managing the improvement of Barclaycard’s Credit Risk controls and processes to bring in line with Policies and Standards.Programme Manager for Barclaycard\'s response to the FCA Consumer Duty, co-ordinating change across the entire organisation to provide better outcomes for customers and ensure impacted business functions were supported in the transition. An extremely challenging and rewarding programme of work involving most parts of the business. We delivered compliance ahead of the FCA deadline (Jul ‘24) and I personally received many recognitions for my role in achieving this from across the senior management.Programme Manager for the Merchant workstream within the Payment CEO’s primary growth initiative (£100m). Delivering ‘next-generation’ payments and value-added service for Merchants and Consumers (including Digital Receipts, Loyalty & Insights offerings). I implemented the whole Merchant delivery approach; ensuring the technical, business readiness and go-to-market activities were brought together into a single proposition to market.Senior Project Manager working on various exciting innovation initiatives in an incredibly fluid part of the organisation. Key innovations included a large touchscreen with payments capability and a mobile in-store scan-pay-go (invisible payments) solution.Managed the go-to-market delivery of ‘Smartpay Hub’, digital point of sale (POS) solution; deploying against an extremely aggressive timescale (4 months). MD level sponsorship and high profile among multiple senior managers required significant communication and stakeholder management ability. Effective communication up and down the management chain was critical to the successful delivery of this product.Senior PM within a payment gateway delivery programme (£80m); owning the end-to-end delivery of the payment terminal/omni-channel proposition, utilising 3rd party hardware and developing internal software/ business processes.
