ABOUT JAMES MCAVOY

Career driven individual with Estates and facilities experience working at Multi Academy Trusts within the education sector, this has enabled day to day working and management of a wide range of premises from 1950\'s builds to £30m+ new builds. Being at the forefront of bringing estates management into the 21st century and building the best possible working relationships with stakeholders, contractors and other outside organizations to provide the best possible service is what excites me and drives me to give 100% to my employer and the wider team.Excellent knowledge of estates team set ups in at new build sites & site transfer having been directly involved in 2 new builds and another being built currently and 1 site transfer with change of usage from a college site to secondary. Currently preparing for another new build to complete in 2023 and another site transfer ready for September 2022Line management of the CLF North Somerset academies estates team consists of Winterstoke Hundred Academy, Hans Price Academy, Haywood Academy, Broadoak Academy along with support and guidance for Herons Moore Academy and Uphill Village academy. SEMH Neilsea to start September 2022 and Winterstoke Hundred Expansion to start September 2023. Team of 14 directly employed to support this area.As of May 2024 I am starting a new chapter of my career and progressing into the Project management sector with Atkins Réalis.
