ABOUT JAMES COWELL

I am an IT professional with an extensive range of IT skills and expertise acquired during the course of my 18 years in the industry. I have undertaken numerous positions around service operations, support, performance enhancement and project delivery for some major international organisations. I am a naturally analytical, diligent and inquisitive individual and apply this in the professional arena to great affect. I enjoy finding out how to make things work better, more efficiently, reliably and putting measures and controls into place that mean newly implemented systems are processes are there for the long-term. Whilst I am focused on the achievement of results, I keep in mind a wider strategic angle of the project I deliver. Making sure the service is fully operational for the end user, the client or customer resulting in the achievement of business objectives in an operational and financial sense. With strong leadership and management skills, I ensure personnel are always highly motivated, engaged in what we are trying to achieve and understand the requirements. I have a history of transforming and turning around failing or underperforming systems with various problems and I never shy away from a challenge of this nature.
