ABOUT JAD BHUDIA

I am a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers with over 30years experience in design, construction, commissioning and project management of water, infrastructure, civil engineering and building projects ranging from £100k to £700m. With strong Project Management and leadership skills, I have worked in and, have been responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams successfully. As a Senior Project Manager and Principal Engineer, I am fully experienced in programme/financial/resource management, design, technical assurance/compliance, construction management and commissioning and systems integration of foul and storm-water projects, clean water networks, pumping stations, tunnelling and associated infrastructure works, wastewater and water treatment process schemes and infrastructure projects including upgrades and utility diversions. I have broad knowledge of MEICA and SCADA scope for water / wastewater systems and have managed projects successfully from concept to completion.I also have significant experience in:• Leading design teams as design manager and senior project manager• design management, technical assurance and construction supervision/assurance• commissioning water/wastewater works such as pump stations, tunnels, and/or treatment works,• asset management practices for water/wastewater utilities, especially in commissioning, operations and maintenance including development of autonomous inspections for underground assets• planning and licensing matters including liaison with external consultants and planning authorities and other stakeholders and have excellent technical writing skills• extensive stakeholder management with excellent communication skills ensuring effective working relationships with Client, Contractor and Third Parties.I am fully conversant with administrating different forms of contract including NEC3, ECC and IChemE Burgundy Book. I strive to achieve the ethos of managing a contract to obtain best value and to ensure the Project is delivered within budget and time requirements and outperforms quality, health and safety standards and risk management. Through a strong leadership, I aim to deliver and maintain a culture of accountability, achievement and performance amongst individuals within the team through mentoring and leadership skills. I build on effective working relationships with contractors, external customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent communication and, I proactively work to enhance the reputation, and reduce risks, to the business
